The type of fish you catch off the coast of Fort Lauderdale, the Mahi-Mahi Fillet is a quick and easy fish to cook. Its lean and mild flavor profile pairs well with a corn tortilla for tacos or between two pieces of bread for a sandwich. When cooked right, mahi-mahi is tender, flaky, and deliciously flavorful. You can season the fillet with a little garlic pepper and cayenne followed by a few squirts of lemon juice - simple!

Preferred Cooking Method: Second City Prime's preferred cooking method for the Mahi-Mahi fillet is to pan-sear it in a large, oven-proof pan. Then, flip the fillets over and transfer pan to the pre-heated oven. Let the mahi-mahi roast at 400 degrees fahrenheit until the top is golden and the center is cooked through.

Preferred Cooking Time: The Mahi-Mahi fillets only need 3 minutes in the oven-proof pan and then roasted in the oven at 400 degrees fahrenheit for 5 minutes.
