This meat is perfect for those who love to season and admire the tender flavors that extend through every bite. When cooking skirt steak, we suggest lightly seasoning it with olive oil and our famous  'The Rub' for a rich texture and unbelievable crust.

Preferred Cooking Method: Second City Prime's preferred cooking method for the Black Onyx Skirt Steak is grilling it on high heat for a short amount of time. We recommend setting your grill to 450 degrees fahrenheit for optimal results.

Preferred Cooking Time: The Black Onyx Skirt Steak is very thin and lean meat therefore you should only cook it for 2-4 minutes on each side for medium rare. For medium we recommend 5-7 minutes on each side and well done would be 8-10 minutes on each side. We also suggest letting it rest for five minutes before cutting into it.
